A Lot On Your Plate has a new logo and I definitely owe it to a very talented artist!
But before I start this post, I wanted to take a moment and thank all of the A Lot On Your Plate blog, Twitter, Facebook, & Pinterest followers, old and new. This blog would have gotten no where if it wasn’t for you guys. Thank you for welcoming me into the WordPress community.
Okay, now a super big huge thank you to an extremely talented artist who I am lucky to call a friend. I know her as the talented Ruth Bauer, but the WordPress community would know her better art ArtistMum.
Ruth’s artwork is so inspiring. Whether its her wire art or her paintings, each piece tells a story and you can tell as she works on her pieces, she certainly does it with love.
The new logo for A Lot On Your Plate is a Ruthie original. It was inspired by some wire art she had worked on a while back. The moment I laid eyes on it, I knew Ruthie’s work went perfectly with the A Lot On Your Plate motif.
The amazing thing about Ruthie is that she is not only one of the most talented artist’s I have met to date, she also has a big heart. When I approached her with the idea of helping me with my logo, she didn’t hesitate what so ever. She jumped at the challenge in which I was so grateful for because not only was she going to be working on my logo, she was also in the middle of making her daughter’s wedding dress at the time!
If you are unfamiliar with ArtistMum’s blog or artwork, I highly suggest you check her work out. Ruth’s wire pieces are exquisite and elegant. Her other pieces are whimsical and charming. There is definitely something for everyone when it comes to her work.
