Fab Find: Pier 1 Import’s Tasting Party (The Sequel)

Oh Pier 1, you’ve done it again! Back in March i featured Pier 1′s “Mini Tasting Party Collection”.  (Click here to revisit my “Mini Tasting Party Collection” post).

Today’s fab find is a continuation of the Pier 1′s “Tasting Party” series.  There are so many fun items to choose from items like the porcelain bowls, mini trifle bowl sets, and the glass platters you’d serve them on.

The collection ranges anywhere from $3.50 to $24.95.

The Tasting Party gives your guests the opportunity to try a little of everything, while giving your party a classic feel.

Dinner Made Simple:

Kraft Fresh Takes & Sizzling Salad Products

I’m always looking for great recipes that aren’t to time-consuming during the week.   Kraft’s new line of dinner kits helps make dinner a little easier.

Kraft Foods came out with 2 new products guaranteed to provide a quick and easy dinner that tastes great.

Kraft Fresh Takes ($3.99)

The Italian Parmesan Breadcrumb Mix is a hit in my household.  This “set it and forget it” recipe is perfect for dinner after a long day at work or school.  Kraft Fresh Takes comes in a bunch of flavors like Rosemary and Roasted Garlic, Southwest Three Cheese, and Cheddar Jack and Bacon. (Recipes available for chop meat as well).

Take one of the Fresh Take breadcrumb mixes and rip the bag the crumbs come in accordingly.  Mix the breadcrumbs with the cheese, shake until all the ingredients ae mixed well.  Take 4 pieces of chicken, one by one placing in the breadcrumb and shaking until the chicken (or fish) is coated.  The cooking time varies on what you are using the breadcrumb mix with.  Bake as directed.

Kraft Sizzling Salad ($4.19)

Kraft Sizzling Salads are the perfect way of infusing flavor into a healthy dinner.  Simply cook 4 chicken breasts on each side for 4-5 mins.  Make sure they are cooked through.  Turn heat down low and add 2 tablespoons of the sauce, heat on low for 1 min.

separately, take salad and mix with the salad dressing.

Perfect with italian or wheat bread.

Fab Find: The Now I’m Reading! Series for Children

I saw an article in an old issue of Martha Stewart Magazine (Feb 12′) entitled “Theaters in Box”. When I saw this item I immediately fell in love with it, so im so excited to share it with you guys. This week’s Fab Find (with a little help from a Ms. Martha Stewart, maybe you’ve heard of her) is called Now I’M Reading! Plays: Cinderella (& Three Little Pigs).

The Now I’m Reading! Plays is a series of plays perfect for children ages 4-7, who are starting to gain reading fluency.  Now I’m Reading! Plays makes reading fun while encouraging your children to get creative and active in the process.

The Now I’m Reading! Plays comes in 4 series, Cinderella, Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks & the Three Bears, and Jack and the Beanstalk.

The Cinderella Series comes with (1) Cinderella Mask, (1) Step Mother Mask, (1) Step Sister Mask, (1) Prince Charming Mask, and a (6) Level 2 Scripts, (The Three Little Pigs is Level 1).

This is my first store review and I am so excited because I get to share one of the most awesome places with you guys!  If you are in the Westchester, New York area and want one of the most fabulous sweets you’ve ever tasted, then Sweet & Social Cupcakes and Desserts is the place for you.

Located in Larchmont, New York, Sweet & Social is a cupcake and dessert shop that has reinvented sweets.  From whoopie pies and lemon bars, to brownies, cupcakes, and cookies, Sweet & Social is one of the sweetest shops in the business.

Not only is the store itself adorable, but the dessert names and flavors are very unique.  Choose from favorites like Camp Out (chocolate cake topped with marshmellow, cream cheese, chocolate drizzle, & graham cracker),  LOL aka Lots of Lemon (a vanilla cake filled with lemon preserves, topped with cream cheese, and a lemon preserve swirl), The Cloud (vanilla cake topped with coconut cream cheese and shredded coconut) and so much more!  Click here for the full cupcake and dessert menu.

Each individual (large) cupcake is $3.25 ($36 a dozen,large. $18 a dozen, mini’s).   The other desserts range anywhere from $2 – $3.25.  The quality of the desserts are superb and the cupcakes are the perfect serving size.

So,This week’s website is pure genius.  Organize.com carries some of the most unique home and office products around. Theres such a wide variety of cleaning & organizing accessories to choose from however, this site is not limited to just that.

Organize also has a travel section where they offer some of the pretty unique l luggage and travel accessories.
