Hi and congrats on the .com thing! I”ve been thinking about becoming a .com also, and was wondering if you could answer some questions for me since you’ve become one. What do you think the advantages are to become a .com versus a wordpress blog? Is it more work? More time consuming? I thought asking someone who has done it themselves might help me with my decision. Thanks so much! I really enjoy your blog.

To me, a .com is a little more time consuming because there’s a lot more on the back end of things. With WordPress, your a communit and with a .com your more on your own. I do love being a .com though, you have a lot more freedom with a .com than you do WordPress. Both are great

Hi! Yes, you can buy a .com domain from GoDaddy.com. You buy the domain name once and renew it once a year. That would be great for you to go to a .com because you have much more freedom to add whatever you would like. WordPress.com restricts you with some stuff because its free, but it’s still awesome
