Website of the Week: HGTV.com

Ah yes, one of my favorite websites of all time…  if you haven’t checked out HGTV also known as Home & Garden Television’s website, then you are in for a treat.  HGTV.com brings you the best of home and garden from experts who know how to save you money, while doing it in style.

HGTV.com offers inspired, affordable decorating tips on a budget for in-doors and out, as well as D.I.Y ideas that give your home a little pick me up. There are simple and healthy recipes and drink idea’s, perfect for special occassions and family dinners. There are tons of great landscaping ideas for your home as well.

Home & Garden has something for everyone whether you are a beginner or a pro.  Offering, but are not limited to, HGTV’s tips and tricks are perfect for people who love to knit and quilt, entertain, and love to work hands on with tools and materials.  However, there are ideas for people who are just starting out in the world of Do It Yourself.

The dinner party ideas on HGTV.com are simple and unique, as well elegant.  The birthday and themed parties are just as fabulous.

The pictures below feature a simple cup and sticker D.I.Y as well as an alternative to a bulky cooler, just in time for entertaining outdoors, as the end of Summer approaches.

My favorite part about HGTV.com is their “Handmade Holiday” D.I.Y section. The easiest projects look like they took forever to create and really brings out that sense of an inviting feeling into your home.   Currently, HGTV’s holiday focus is on Halloween, but you can get great holiday tips for any season all year round!

The designers at HGTV have thought of everything D.I.Y from handmade Christmas ornaments and Thanksgiving table settings and recipes to Halloween pumpkin decorating idea’s and so much more.

Now, HGTV.com is also great for those who are not always about doing things themselves.  With thousands of photos of bath, bedrooms, kitchens, and other rooms in the home, there are tons of ideas for people trying to redecorate or remodel.

Another cool reason to visit HGTV.com is their giveaways.  They are almost always running sweepstakes, contests, and giveaways for everything ranging from dream homes to remodeling projects, and other great prizes.

Been on HGTV.com before?  If so, tell me what you think!  What is your favorite part about the website? Your comment will be added to this post!

Be sure to check out HGTV.com for more fun decor tips, seasonal D.I.Y ideas, updates, and if you live in an area where you get the Home & Garden Television channel, local listings of their awesome shows.
