Patriotic Marshmallows

This DIY is so easy and quick that its perfect for a last-minute BBQ idea!
What you will need:
(1) cup of red sprinkles
(1) cup of blue sprinkles
(1) small bowl of water for dipping
paper towels

1. Take a marshmallow and dip one end into the bowl of water. Gently pat down the marshmallow with the paper towel, leaving the end moist but not soggy (this is to ensure the sprinkle colors don’t run.)
2. Swirl the damp end of the marshmallow into one bowl of colored sprinkles.

3. Repeat this step for the other side of the marshmallow.
*To cover the whole marshmallow with sprinkles, simple dip the whole marshmallow into the water, pat down, and cover with sprinkles.

These are aDORable…what a great idea! I may have missed making them for the 4th, but I’ll give them a try with other colored sugars for any occasion. Thanks for liking my coconut macaroons
Love this idea! I’m going to do Green and Gold ones for Australia Day next year! So easy that I can even do them when i’m away from home and travelling for work. I love ideas that are as simple as this that I can do on the road to bring festivity and smiles to the people I work with who are missing their families on these special days.
Stay safe,
